You know how this works. I give you a pile of steaming hot, fresh off the presses, music videos from the worldwide internet and then for fun, I also give some information about the video that may or may not be entertaining, thought-provoking and sometimes completely confusing. GRIMES – GO (FT. BLOOD DIAMONDS)

This new one from Grimes is just about to break the million views mark. Aren’t you happy we showed it to you? Now before you say “no,” let me explain one thing: YOU’RE WRONG! And also, Grimes is one of those artists that has die-hard fans and die-hard haters, so if you fall into the latter category, you’re totally lame and have no friends. OK, OK. I’m sorry. Just watch the video. It’s hot as sh*t! 

SHABAZZ PALACES - #CAKE

Damn, Subpop! You know how to deliver. This is pretty much an entire song about cake. But it’s not stupid or made by internet nerds. Shabazz Palaces totally deliver on #CAKE and the video - it’s even more satisfying than the object of its title. Blam! Share this with your friends right now. I bet they haven’t seen it yet. In fact, I can probably guarantee it! (But I won’t) “EATING CAKE!”

FENCES – ARROWS (FT. MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS)

Is Macklemore & Ryan Lewis a couple? I never quite understood why they can’t do anything separately. Anyway, Arrows by Seattle artist Fences is a great song. I mean, really great! Yeah, you’ll probably get sick of it soon (and the Macklemore part sucks) but aren’t you completely intrigued by this super tattooed guy? I know I am! 

Oh yeah, and the music video might be the best one I’ve seen all year! I loved the part where Macklemore dies. 

THE MAGICIAN – SUNLIGHT (FT. YEARS & YEARS)

So we know Years & Years make great music videos, but this one from The Magician is straight by magical! (Get it?) Now this is a summer anthem! And it’s either just in time or too late, depending on where you live in the world. So the next time you feel down, just think of that chubby magic alien dude on the beach. I bet you’ll feel a whole lot better! 

HIGH KLASSIFIED – HYRULE KASTLE 

I don’t know what that sh*t in the beginning was, but the rest of the video is killer! For real. Especially if you like butts that are more realistic than the ones in the Anaconda video. And who doesn’t?! You’ve got to admit – the colours in this video are spectacular! Like LSD without the LSD. And that’s the safe way, kids! 

MARZ LÉON – L O N E R 

This Californian darling has only put out two videos, and both of them have been featured on our Best Videos of the week column. (That’s what you’re reading right now, by the way.) So let’s compare: There’s a lot more going on in this one and she’s still wearing that crown, so this is probably my favourite of the two. Ah, why is she so brilliant?! I WANT MORE. So much more! 

THE WEEKND – KING OF THE FALL 

OK, so I don’t really like The Weeknd. At all! Mainly because of that ridiculous hair. Anyway, this video is cool because it’s full of really sexy women and it was shot real well. Real, real well. And as for his music: some people are digging it and some people think it’s “commercial crap.” The only thing that really matters is what you think. So, what do you think? Comment below, b*tches! 

ZOLA JESUS – DANGEROUS DAYS 

This video kind of reminds me of that one Madonna did in the 90s. You know which one I’m talking about? Good, because I’m feeling very nostalgic, yet this all sounds very new and exciting. Zola Jesus, you impressed us! 

LEFT BRAIN AND THE REAL GIRL 

Yup, this is unfortunately one of the best videos of the week! What can we say?! We just can’t get enough of what goes on in Tyler’s brain. Oh yeah, and don’t forget to buy their merch! That’s the only reason they’re doing all this, right? 

DR. KUCHO! & GREGOR SALTO – CAN’T STOP PLAYING (OLIVER HELDENS & GREGOR SALTO REMIX) 

That’s some hella fresh dancing! I feel like Taylor Swift when I say that now. Hmm. But why are they communicating telepathically? Are they a bandit dance crew on the run? Is that even a thing? Are they hiding from some sort of underground dancing regime that want to capture them and steal their dancing powers? Have I been watching too many movies? Yes, I have! BUT, I really do like this video. A lot.
